On the inside, drivers will find comfort and luxury amidst high-tech advancements. The dash has been given a new look, and the arrangement of controls has been improved. The front-wheel drive acura tl is a refined, mid-sized sedan offering a winning combination of sport and luxury. It is available in two trim levels: the tl, and the performance-oriented tl type-s. The tl comes with a 258 hp 3. 2-liter v6 engine, while the tl type-s features a dynamic 286 hp 3. 5-liter v6. Both engines are paired with a five-speed automatic transmission with sportshift manual control, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters are standard on the tl type-s. Alternatively, the type-s can be outfitted with a six-speed manual transmission, matched to a limited-slip differential for improved traction. Every tl is equipped with a power moonroof, bi-xenon high-intensity discharge (hid) headlights, heated front seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, satellite radio and handsfreelink (bluetooth) wireless connectivity. The tl type-s is distinguished by a more aggressive exterior, with modified fascias, wider side sills, quad tailpipes, rear spoiler and exclusive alloy wheels; distinctive interior styling cues include two-tone leather sport seats and stainless steel pedals. A navigation system with voice activation and integrated rearview camera parking assist is standard on the tl type-s and available for the tl. For 2008, the acura tl carries over unchanged.
